Teen Summer Reading 2026

Teens entering grades 6-12 (and 2026 graduates!)
Read and log your minutes:
- 120 minutes (2 hours) = Mystery box prize
- 300 minutes (5 hours) = Raffle ticket
- 600 minutes (10 hours) = Book of your choice + sticker set + raffle ticket
- 900 minutes (15 hours) = Raffle ticket
- 1,200 minutes (20 hours) = Raffle ticket
- 2,000 minutes (33 1/3 hours) = Automatic entry in the Mini Book Bundle drawing (one per library; no raffle tickets required!)
Earn up to 4 raffle tickets to enter for prize bundles. Click here to see large images and descriptions of prize bundles.
Prize Bundle raffles and Mini Book Bundle drawings will be held the week of August 23. Participants can pick up Level 1 (mystery box) and Level 2 (book) prizes through August 29.

Children ages birth through entering grade 5
Pick up a game board at your library and log your reading to earn a prize, a book of your choice, and a chance to win a dino-mite grand prize book bundle.

Adults
New this year, adults can play READ IT! and relive the magic of earning pizza for reading! Read or listen to five books in any format. Pick up a flyer at your library to log titles. Earn a free book coupon from Friends of MCDL and an invite to a pizza party with bookish activities, a READ IT! button, and, of course, pizza!
